Crushers for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, minerals and plastics
Delumper® crushers are designed to handle a variety of applications including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, minerals, plastics and more. They crush, shred and cut solids including waxy, resinous and hard materials, powders and soft agglomerates to desired output without over-grinding, heat rise or fines.
The units are solidly constructed with a one-piece dust-tight body and a smooth, refined finish. Features include non-churning crushing mechanism, individually replaceable teeth, low vibration and noise, shaft seals, flanges for convenient connection and a low-headroom design.
In-line processors for tough solids
The Pipeline Delumper is a powerful in-line processor that crushes, disperses and suspends tough solids in fully enclosed pipe systems. This unit eliminates blockages, works the stream to free flow and prevents damage to pumps and other equipment. It is suitable for wet, dry, pressure or gravity systems.
Designed for easy installation, the Pipeline Delumper connects directly to pipe or duct systems via standard pipe flanges. Its working principle employs rugged impeller teeth passing through a heavy bar grating to reduce the size of the product. These teeth completely clear the slots of the bar grating and at the same time clean the entire pipe cross-section area. The unit is available with a choice of seal options as well as direct or belt drives.
The Delumper S4 sanitary crusher is especially designed and built for convenient interior access, clean-in-place capability and sanitary design, and meets the highest quality and sanitary standards. This sanitary crusher features a cantilevered design and quick-access door for quick cleaning or changeover of cutting elements. It has a meticulously polished finish.
Our sanitary crusher has a precision-aligned, smooth-rotating drum with integral teeth that rotate through a set of sizing combs. This mechanism produces a once-through, non-destructive crushing action that reduces oversized particles to their basic grain size without over-grind or overwork of material.
Agglomerate or lump crushers
The Delumper LP crusher reduces hard or soft, heat sensitive, sticky or wet agglomerates or lumps. This straight-through agglomerate or lump crusher employs extended cutting teeth that rotate through a heavy bar cage with a complete self-clearing action. The result is an efficient, exceptionally low-friction cutting action that is excellent for large quantities of sludge cake, agglomerated chemicals, fats, waxes, plastics, waste and more.
Maintenance ease is enhanced as each cutting tooth is individually replaceable. These units are available in various model sizes with single, dual or triple-shaft configurations for capacities up to 27,000lb/hr.
The Delumper L crusher reduces product to a desired output size with a positive, once-through chopping action. Cutting teeth mounted to a smooth drum rotate through sizing combs to process agglomerates and chunks and reduce oversized particles to their basic grain size without over-grind, heat rise or fines.
These units are provided in a number of models and sizes to fit most application requirements. The heavy-duty one-piece body construction provides these units with low vibration and dust-free operation.
Roll mill for chemicals, minerals and grain
The Supreme roll mill provides dependable size reduction of a wide variety of chemicals, minerals and grain with an efficient, once-through milling action. The unit employs dual counter-rotating smooth, serrated or grooved rolls that pinch and crack solids to a controlled output size. The roll gap is variable to tightly control the output particle size of the feedstock.
These roll mills for chemicals, minerals and grain are available in a variety of models and sizes starting with dual 10in long x 10in diameter rolls and larger. They are provided in carbon or stainless steel. Options include automatic electrical-control system, automated roll-gap actuator, tandem arrangement, special enclosures and more.
