NON-HAZARDOUS BULK LIQUID CHEMICALS PACKAGING

Structure-flex also manufactures a range of products suitable for non-hazardous bulk liquid chemicals including 1,000L collapsible intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and flexitanks up to 24,000L, which makes up its bulk liquid packaging range.

System Flexitank from Structure-flex is one of the most cost-effective products in today's bulk shipping industry. Use it ahead of drums, tank containers and parcel tankers. Whether using a single or multi-trip approach, System Flexitank, once emptied, is immediately ready for low cost disposal or re-use.

All welds and panels of tanks are thoroughly tested to ensure leak free product. Structure-flex also maintains a comprehensive compatibility database to ensure the correct fabric is selected for the cargo. Structure-flex can supply a flexitank to meet any requirement with non-standard fitting configurations available on request to suit individual needs.

FLEXIBLE BAFFLE BAGS

One recent development from Structure-flex is a unique baffle bag. Unfortunately, FIBCs have a tendency to distort, becoming rounded when filled, overhanging the footprint of the pallets on which they stand. This 'bellying', although natural for a flexible bag, is becoming increasingly unacceptable to customers for whom transport and storage costs are spiralling. Structure-flex believes that, in conjunction with its European supplier, it has now achieved the optimum design.

Structure-flex's new baffle bag design offers the same rigidity and stability as the more expensive options already on the market, while remaining a flexible and cost-effective option. Structure-flex's discharge arrangement solves the difficulty of emptying the container - a problem which competitors have found difficult to overcome.

BULK BAGS

Structure-flex has manufactured the original Big Bag since 1970. Specifically designed and manufactured from reinforced thermoplastic-coated material, the original Big Bag is the ultimate reusable, multi-trip bulk bag for use in demanding applications and environments.

The Big Bag can be tailor made with a variety of colours, shapes, sizes and fabrics, including food grade, oil-resistant and anti-static properties. Every fabric is water resistant. A welded construction provides maximum strength and creates a dust proof, weather proof, contaminant-free container. A variety of lifting arrangements can be applied and bulk bags can be manufactured to match the required filling and discharging equipment.

BULK BAGS FOR HIGH VALUE CHEMICALS

Thermoplastic bulk bags also ensure complete product integrity, particularly suitable for high value chemicals, such as barite and bentonite products used in oil and gas drilling operations. Dry bulk product can be stored for long periods of time if necessary with no risk of UV damage to the bulk bag or water damage to the product.

DRY BULK PACKAGING AND CONTAINER LINERS

Structure-flex container liners, available in both woven PP and PE film, convert an ISO container into a dry bulk transport system for shipping dry, free flowing materials such as granules or powders. A variety of foodstuffs and chemicals can be easily and safely transported in a highly cost-effective manner.

Dry bulk container liners form a protective shield between the bulk powder product and container floor and walls. Following removal of the bulk liner, the container is also cleanly preserved for reuse. Dry bulk container liners can be manufactured to suit 20ft, 30ft and 40ft sizes. A variety of filling and discharging spouts or configurations are possible and the product has significant advantages over FIBC / PP bulk bag export shipments.
