Do you use a chemical product at work that you don’t think is labeled correctly or that you feel doesn’t have an adequate MSDS? Would you like to begin selling a new chemical product on the retail market but aren’t sure what needs to be on the container label? Would you like to ship a chemical product to another location but you don’t know where to start? ICC The Compliance Center Inc. is pleased to provide a wide range of regulatory services to help you get started.

MSDS Services

We have a number of services to offer. We can change or reformat your existing MSDS into a new Canadian, US, European or North American compliant Safety Data Sheet. If you would like to know if your MSDS is compliant in Canada, the US, or both, we can review the MSDS for you and provide you with a brief letter outlining some of the deficiencies, if any. Is your MSDS intended to be Canadian-compliant, close to being older than three years, past the Canadian three-year expiry date, or a US or Canadian MSDS that needs to be updated as a result of new information? We can update the MSDS for you to ensure that the MSDS is accurate. Perhaps you have a brand-new product that you are manufacturing for the US or Canadian industrial market. ICC can create a new MSDS for you based on the ingredients you use and some minimal physical data. We can also have your MSDS translated into French, English, Spanish or other languages, such as German.

Labeling Services

We have a number of services for your industrial or consumer labeling needs. We can create new label text for an industrial product that is compliant in Canada, the US, North America or Europe. If you would like to know if your industrial label text is okay to use in Canada, the US or North America, we can review the industrial label text and provide you with a brief letter outlining some of the deficiencies, if any. If you have a chemical product which has or requires consumer labeling that is compliant for use in Canada, the US or North America, ICC can provide you with detailed instructions on what text and symbols are required and where they would go on your containers for the country in question. These instructions can be provided for multiple container sizes of one product, and once you have had the label made that incorporates these instructions, ICC can review the draft label to ensure that all requirements have been met. If your US, North American or Canadian consumer product has changed in some way (new product formulation, new test data, etc.) and ICC previously did a Consumer Label Instruction document for you, we can review the label to ensure that none of the labeling requirements have changed and the label is still good to use. We can also have your industrial or consumer label translated into French, English, Spanish or other languages, such as German.

Classification Services

For your product classification needs, ICC can classify your product and issue a letter providing the classification for any or all modes of transport, Canadian WHMIS, Canadian consumer regulations, US OSHA, US consumer regulations, or European labels.

The Customer Service and Regulatory Staff at ICC The Compliance Center Inc. will be happy to help you with all of your label, MSDS and classification needs. For more information or if you would like ICC’s assistance in determining what type of service you require, contact us and/or visit our website today.
