Delta Containers Ltd. supplies a complete range of plastic packaging solutions, and specialises in providing new and reconditioned UN-approved IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) to the UK's chemical, food, pharmaceutical and associated industries. Delta's range of products includes the new 1,000L IBCs, which, like the Repaltainer and EL types, are manufactured by Mauser Container Systeme GmbH and distributed into the UK and Ireland by ourselves. Delta also offers UN packaging testing services, European wide container collection services and a select range of hazardous material handling equipment. In addition, Delta provides used and reconditioned IBCs, and a complete IBC laundry service. UN APPROVED IBC (INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINERS)Delta supplies four types of UN approved IBC for a variety of applications:
RECONDITIONED IBCAt Delta safety is taken just as seriously as cleanliness, with our reconditioned IBCs you can always trust the quality. The multi-stage cleaning process employed on the reconditioned IBC line ensures we get it right time after time. Whilst our state-of-the-art leak detection equipment maintains our reputation as a 'without risk' supplier. Even with our standard specification, IBC handlers know to trust the quality. Every reconditioned IBC is supplied with its own certification with full tracability built-in. Reconditioned IBCs are available either UN or non-UN approved, entirely leak tested (pressure decay and ultrasonic) with or without a dry finish. USED IBC CLEANING SERVICESDelta provide a high quality used IBC cleaning service from start to finish - covering collection, cleaning, testing and delivery. Through integration with our Container Collection Service (CCS) we collect used IBCs from anywhere in Great Britain and transport to our works in Manchester.
Finally, cleaned and tested used IBCs are delivered anywhere in the UK to customer designated sites. Our IBC laundry service also extends to L-ring drums and kegs, with L-rings offered to UN standards. USED IBC COLLECTION AND TESTINGDelta offers customers additional support through a European wide Container Collection Service (CCS) and, when required, UN approval re-testing. Customers can request a free of charge collection of used packaging (conditions apply) either via the internet, email, phone or fax. UN approval retesting must be carried out on all IBCs at 2.5yr intervals as laid down in ADR. Delta can carry out this test on the customer's behalf either as a stand-alone service or as part of a wider container management program incorporating collection, cleaning and testing. IBC ADAPTERS, SPARES AND HANDLING EQUIPMENTDelta supplies off-load adapters, spare parts, replacement discharge valves and a select range of hazardous material handling equipment. All these items can be viewed on Delta's website, listed below. The handling equipment on offer includes drum pumps, taps, IBC spillage bunds and heating jackets.
