CHEMICAL STIRRING AND MIXING EQUIPMENT

The chemical sector works with a multitude of substances, which are frequently aggressive or abrasive, and which can sometimes provoke reactions under extreme conditions. This requires highly-developed product and process knowledge in order to achieve a safe, reliable and low-maintenance mixing and stirring process.

SOLID, LIQUID AND GAS MIXING

Mixing can include two or more different types of substances, such as liquid / liquid, liquid / solid and liquid / gas. One molecule type is transported through the other as a result of the difference in molecular concentration. Typhoon has the specialist knowledge and the technical skills to guarantee maximum run times and minimum downtimes.

ATEX AND ISO-COMPLIANT CHEMICAL MIXING TECHNOLOGY

In order to be able to guarantee maximum safety under explosive conditions, Typhoon has rigidly adhered to the terms of the ATEX guideline 94/9/EG. Our systems also satisfy the requirements of the European Machine Directive 98/37/EG. Furthermore, in order to guarantee the quality level, a quality assurance system has been developed in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2000.

PULSE STIRRING SYSTEMS

Typhoon is a specialist in pulse stirring, whether in mixing tanks, bulk tanks, mixing vessels or reactor vessels. For these purposes, a wide and modular selection of standard stirring systems has been developed and is available. However, for most processes a made-to-measure system is available that can meet a client’s individual requirements. Typhoon is able to develop practically any product under almost any conditions.

DIRECTLY DRIVEN CHEMICAL STIRRING SYSTEMS

Typhoon has adapted its directly driven mixing technology right across the board in the pressing industry. The production line can cope with almost any mixing requirement. Both relatively small stand-mounted mixers and heavier systems with electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic drive systems are included in the range.

INDIRECTLY DRIVEN CHEMICAL STIRRING SYSTEMS

Typhoon’s indirectly driven mixing and stirring systems guarantee a versatile range of applications. There is a choice of rotation speeds, which are created by a transmission system. Capacities range from 0.18kW to 55kW, so that very viscous products can be worked without any problems. Possible axle lengths are now up to 20m.

CONTINUOUS CHEMICAL MIXER UNIT

With its patented high shear inline range, Typhoon has launched an innovative technology onto the market. The compact installation provides an immediate saving of space, while the mixing quantities are significantly higher than in the more traditional techniques (the inline-mixing system is completely integrated into the production process).

Further advantages include low energy consumption with high energy dissipation, ease of cleaning, long service life, reduced wear and the accompanying low maintenance cost.

CHEMICAL PROCESS SERVICE CONTRACTS

Typhoon offers a range of service contracts to protect your mixing and stirring systems with a system of preventive care. Each service contract includes regular inspections and clear reports of findings. In this way, you will always have a clear overview of how your machines are working. If, in spite of this, a mixing or a stirring system should break down, Typhoon undertakes to resolve the problem within the time specified in the service contract.

Minor repairs and adjustments to mixing and stirring systems are carried out on the spot by the maintenance service. On the basis of the service reports, major repairs and maintenance can be arranged within an agreed schedule. Moreover, if you choose to enter into a service contract, you can also save up to 10% of the labour charges in the event of a breakdown.
