CROWN UNDERWATER PELLETIZERS

Crown underwater pelletizers are capable of cutting a wide range of sizes and polymers from hot melt adhesives and thermoplastic rubber to polyester, nylon and other thermoplastics from 50lbs/hr to 50,000 lbs/hr, especially for TPE, TPU, PA, PET, TPV, ABS, PP, PVC, wax, adhesives, glass filled material, carbon fiber filled compounds, and 95% metal filled compounds.

CROWN underwater pelletizers use specially designed dies and cutting chambers that are capable of producing standard size and micro pellets in a variety of polymers. Whether for processing or research and development, CROWN underwater pelletizers can handle the job.

CROWN EXTRUDERS

Crown extruders are ideal for production, material testing, new product development and quality control purposes. They can be utilised for many purposes, including compounding, pelletizing, sheet extrusion pipe extrusion, wire coating and blow film. A variety of standard and custom designed screws and barrels are available for various applications, which can be assembled in any combination to provide the plasticizing of raw material feeding, ventilation or gas extraction. Crown provides a modular design for unlimited flexibility in screw configuration.

CROWN SCREEN CHANGERS

We provide dual bolt, slide plate and manual screen changers. The unique design of our dual bolt screen changer allows processing to continue while screens are being changed, and they are designed to attach easily to any Crown single screw or twin screw extruder. Amongst other advantages, the changer protects down stream equipment by filtering contaminants from the extrusion process.

The Crown slide plate changer operates in a full stroke from side to side position in 1ms. It is H13 through hardened and then lapped for a precise finish. The power units and associated accumulators are oversized and have been designed for long life and easy operation.

The manual Crown changer is lever operated. It consists of two position units with two heat zones and removable breaker plates, and the exacting specifications ensure the screen changer is leak resistant. The changers are ideal for recycling, pelletizing and compounding processes, especially when material is in a recycled form.
