Clip-On Gasket For Hygienic Applications

Tranter PHE has launched the Clip-on gasket for use in the food and brewing sectors, and applications which require ultra pure water. It is designed to eliminate the risk of contamination from glue traditionally used to secure gaskets and thus ensure the safety and integrity of the products.
The Clip-on gasket is also designed for applications that require frequent gasket replacement as removal and installation is quicker and easier; the gasket groove is easier to clean therefore re-gasketing can often be completed on site, resulting in less plant down-time.
The Clip-on gasket is principally used with Tranter plate heat exchangers designed for hygienic applications including dairy processing, juice production and in the brewing and distilling markets. The Clip-on gasket also ensures the integrity demanded by the pharmaceutical sectors when attached to Tranter double wall plates, and the gaskets are available in FDA approved and EPDM and Nitrile.
