Two leading brands unite to create a single source of supply
SWEP International PHE now joins forces with the US based company, Tranter PHE Inc. The combined company, Tranter PHE, will be one of the world’s leading manufacturers of gasketed and welded heat exchangers. The Tranter PHE worldwide branding will come into effect from 2nd June 2003.
SWEP International PHE, with head office in Sweden, has long been one of the leading names in the plate heat exchanger market. The company has a long-established reputation in Europe and Asia, delivering a superb range of proven products and an outstanding pre and after sales service.

The name SWEP remains in the brazed heat exchanger market
SWEP will continue as the brand for the manufacture and sales of compact brazed heat exchangers (CBE). This exclusive branding for the CBE market will enable SWEP to build on the established customer base that includes some of the world’s leading companies.
