Schoeller-Bleckmann Nooter, Austria, are specialists in the manufacture of pressure vessels for the fertilizer industry, particularly for ammonia and urea plants, and have been active on international markets with this product range for a number of years.

UREA SYNTHESIS EQUIPMENT

High-corrosion-resistant material clad elements designed and manufactured by SBN for urea synthesis include:

• Heat exchangers
• Reactors
• Columns

We also supply the necessary internals such as liquid divider systems, sieve trays, etc.

EQUIPMENT FOR AMMONIA PLANTS

SBN also provide a wide range of equipment for ammonia plants, such as primary and secondary reformers, heat exchangers for various process stages and internals for NH3 synthesis converters, as well as heat exchangers for the high-pressure synthesis section.

Depending on the specific conditions, either monowall or multilayer construction can be used, with finished high-pressure vessels having unit weights of up to and in excess of 300t.
