PACO Increases Market Presence in Indonesia
The InterTex is one of the most important trade shows for Textile and Garment Machinery and Accessories in South East Asia. As one of the world's leading suppliers of filtering systems – for example, for synthetic fibre production – PACO will be using the show to generate further growth in the important South East Asian market.
Bandung: A Metropolis in the Highlands of West Java
Indonesia is a country with a territory that consists of one large and several small islands – in total more than 13,600! Although Java is not the largest island, it is the most important, being the site of the capital city Jakarta. Bandung is located to the south west of the capital at an altitude of approx. 700 m, which gives the city with its population of over two million a relatively pleasant climate. Bandung is an important industrial centre, the most important industries being textiles, chemicals, machine manufacturing and ceramics. As a major show city it is also a centre for science and research.
