ELECTRODES FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL SYSTEMS

Permascand develops and manufactures electrodes to support the efficiency of our customers’ electrochemical processes. Our range includes an extensive variety of anode and cathode models, with various types of catalyst coatings suited to a host of electrochemical processes.

The anode substrate is titanium and the cathode substrate is normal mild steel, ultra-low carbon steel or nickel. The anodes are known as Dimensionally Stable Anodes (DSAs).

Extended service life, high efficiency and considerable energy savings are major benefits that account for the success of Permascand’s dimensionally stable anodes in the chlor-alkali industry.

Dimensionally stable anodes offer high levels of efficiency, and this product is also highly adaptable. It can be used for cathodic protection, metal plating, water purification, electrowinning of metals, electrochemical synthesis, electrogalvanizing, aluminium anodisation and electrophoresis.

The Permascand product portfolio includes special electrodes for requirement beyond standard. Permascand offers a wide range of services including turnkey services, project co-ordination, assembly, testing, transport and on-site work for our customers.

We supply titanium pipes and pressure vessels to the chemical and nuclear industries, and to other industries with extremely rigorous demands on operating reliability. Our equipment stands up to these crucial demands on strength, weight and resistance to corrosion.

The chemical industry uses our titanium pipes to withstand hot and humid chlorine, salt solutions etc. Our system for protection against galvanic corrosion means that titanium pipes can be directly connected to cells without corrosion.
