Digital microprocessor indicators

Tematec provides digital microprocessor indicators with one measurement input and a maximum of three signal outputs. The single-channel digital indicators are suitable for displaying measurements and monitoring limit values in industrial applications.

The configurable analog input permits the direct connection of thermocouples, resistance thermometers, resistance transmitters, potentiometers or transducers with a standard signal. The sampling rate for the measurement input is four measurements per second.

Four-digit LED display for measurements

The indicators have a clearly legible four-digit LED display, which, depending on the version, is 10mm or 20mm high, and serves to display the measurements, as well as being available for dialogs. Only three buttons are used for configuration.

The parameter setting is arranged dynamically and after 2s without any operation, the value is accepted automatically. The front protection is to IP66, the rear IP20. The electrical connection is by plug-in screw terminals. The possible input and output configurations are shown in the following block structure.

Programmable digital indicator

Tematec supplies the Dynisco 1390 strain gage indicator, which offers a field-selectable display and dual configurable alarms to meet changing pressure indication requirements. The available mA or Vdc linear retransmission or serial communications enable the user to log, send and/or retrieve process information.

Compact digital indicator

A simple front panel instrument calibration and compact profile makes the 1390 the ideal indicator for your process. The indicator comes equipped with beacons, which display the alarms, remote configuration and the desire pressure unit, and has a cable hook-up that allows use of DynaLink, the 1390 indicator configuration software.

Temperature and pressure controllers

Tematec’s series of controllers includes four freely programmable instruments in different DIN formats for controlling temperature, pressure and other process variables. The high-contrast, multicolor LC display for process value, setpoint and operator prompting contains two four-digit seven-segment displays, two single-character 16-segment displays, display of the active setpoints, six switch position indicators, and displays for the dimensional unit, ramp function and manual operation.

Controller software

Tematec provides controllers that can be simply operated using four keys. The instruments can be used as two-state, three-state, modulating or continuous controllers. The controller software includes a program or ramp function, parameter set changeover, two auto-tuning (self-optimization) procedures, a maths and logic module, as well as four limit comparators.

Customer-specific linearization table

Linearizations for the usual transducers are stored and a customer-specific linearization table can be programmed.

Thermocouples

Tematec supplies a wide range of thermocouples to suit many different applications. The range includes:

• Thermocouples with connection cables; constructed according to DIN; temperature range of –200°C to 800°C
• Push-in and screw-in thermocouples with connecting cables for solid, liquid and gasous materials, with a temperature range of –50°C to 400°C
• Surface thermocouples with connection cables with a temperature range of –50°C to 400°C
• Push-in thermocouples with bajonett caps with a temperature range of 50°C to 400°C
• Thermocouples/ resistance thermometers for ships, certified for use in heavy duty applications, including ship engines, stationary power generators and compressors

Most Tematec products are designed to the special needs of its customers according to their specifications and are produced from 1 to over 1,000 per order.

Quality management

The Tematec quality and production system has been certified according to ATEX (ZELM 03 ATEX 1150) since 2003 (renewed in 2007). In May 2008, the company renewed its ISO 9001 quality management certificate.

Tematec holds certificates from Buerau Veritas and Germanischer Lloyd to supply its products to certain industries such as shipyards.
