Time-of-flight measurement methods are gaining increasingly momentum in industrial instrumentation. Particularly the reliable measurement results but also low maintenance costs distinguish non-invasive time-of-flight methods as compared with conventional measurement principles.
Continuous technological development has extended application limits of guided radar instruments considerably during recent years. Endress+Hauser now offers in Levelflex M a guided level radar for both bulk solids and liquids.
The new Levelflex M is available for liquid applications in to versions: equipped with a rod probe for level measurement in bypasses and stilling wells and a coaxial probe for storage and buffer tanks. Maximum measuring range is up to 35m.
The new 4-line plain text display permits menu-guided on-site operation. The operator is guided (step by step) through the complete basic calibration procedure. Commissioning has never been as easy as that.
Levelflex M offers a novelty. For the first time, signal progression is shown as an envelop curve also on the instrument display thus providing information on the reliability of the instrument during application.
A graphic operating tool (ToF-Tool) is supplied free of charge and permits simple commissioning, optimising, diagnosis and measuring point documentation. Tensile strength has been decisively increased by the optimised rope design permitting a lower rope diameter at the same level of performance.
The advantage: 25% ceiling load reduction.
Different standardised protocols like HART, Profibus-PA or Foundation Fieldbus ensure the digital communication capability of Levelflex M.
