Degussa Earns the Monsanto Supplier Award for Outstanding Quality and Service

For the sixth successive year, the Monsanto Company, a leading supplier of agricultural products and solutions, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, has awarded its distinguished Supplier Quality Recognition Award to Degussa Catalysts. In addition to Degussa, only nine other companies out of Monsanto's entire global supply base received this award for quality performance in 2006. Degussa's business line Catalysts has manufacturing facilities globally, and supplies Monsanto in the US, Europe and Latin America.
"Degussa's continued commitment to quality and customer service has earned you this special distinction," said Bill Moench, global purchasing manager of Monsanto on presenting the award. In addition to Mr. Moench, Mark Kramer, purchasing manager for Monsanto's Muscatine plant in Iowa, and Lynell Boyd, Monsanto’s Quality Director, traveled to Calvert City, KY, in April to present the award.
